KIte Dar Es Salaam (KITE DSM) and Cambridge Development Initiative(CDI) are NGOs, registered in Tanzania with registration number No_00NGO09322 (KITE DSM) ( and England and Wales no. 1159244 (CDI).( )Together we deal with different projects in Tanzania and United Kingdom.This year our projects include Health, Education, Entrepreneurship and WaSH Projects in Dar es Salaam.

This Year, The CDI and KITE have decided to organize , KITE: THE RUN, to include Walking, running and Cycling for people of all ages and all gender, THE RUN will take place at Masaki - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 8th September 2019. THE RUN will be on three Categories of Kilometers thus 5,10 and 21, available to people of all ages and all gender, from 6:00AM.


To inspire all members of the Society to take part in sports, Since we believe that Sports contribute to a healthy life but also Sports is a Profession, these are so linked to our health and Entrepreneurship projects. However this is also an Opportunity to us to aspire others and the society at large on the importance of supporting others and helping those in need, Our Organizations do not have a specific source of income, however the projects conducted are worth millions, this is done possible through some few parties who support what we do we wish to spread this spirit.


THE RUN, is brought to you by KITE DSM and CDI, in Support of International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF): Athletics Tanzania (AT).


THE WaSH Project: intends to construct 20 latrines in Vingunguti - this would impact approximately 200 people directly.

Education project: this year is aiming at making impact on student in both primary and secondary schools in English clubs by making it more practical and sustainable. Also our Education project will expand the KompyutHer pilot, which provides out-of-school girls with practical computer skills that will boost their future employment opportunities.

Health project: this summer will be dealing with providing education and raising awareness based on sexual reproductive health and rights and the target group is adolescence out of schools and adolescence in the secondary schools.

Entrepreneurship project: Launching YBC, is a program where companies are matched with participants who are university students and recent graduates who will internship with them over the summer.

Medals will be available, Certificates of Honour will be provided to the Running Clubs with the best performance
